Adapted from the popular webtoon series The Office Blind Date, Business Proposal is a romantic comedy that follows an ordinary office employee who gets roped into disguising as her best friend on a blind date in an effort to scare the guy away. Everything goes awry, however, when the person she’s supposed to meet turns out to be her company’s CEO and actually asks for her hand in marriage.
Sejeong plays the ever-so-positive Shin Ha-ri who lives a double life as a regular food researcher and as a fake chaebol heiress in the shoes of her best friend, Jin Young-seo. Opposite her is Ahn Hyo Seop as Kang Tae-mu, a cold and arrogant CEO who has it all: money, beauty, wealth, you name it. 2. The Uncanny Counter (2020)

The Uncanny Counter is another webtoon-based drama. This fantasy thriller is about a group of misfits with supernatural abilities who work with their counterparts in the afterlife to fight off evil spirits that prey on humans. Far from the sunny disposition of her character in Business Proposal, Sejeong plays the role of Do Ha-na, one of the Counters. Here, she expertly portrays Ha-na’s cold and strong exterior despite the fact that she actually has a soft heart. The series is OCN’s highest-rated drama so far and has been renewed for a second season.

3. I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019)

Riled up by the incidents the teen has been causing, the school’s principal stops at nothing to uncover their true identity. Kim Sejeong plays Ra Eun-ho alongside Mr. Queen star Kim Jung Hyun who portrays her schoolmate Hyun Tae-woon. With their palpable chemistry, this friends-to-lovers story is definitely a must-watch.

The Sound of Your Heart is a drama adapted from Korea’s longest-running webtoon series that tells the story of the average life of a cartoonist. It portrays his everyday struggles as an artist together with his relationship with his girlfriend and his family. Sejeong appears as a guest in the show as the newlywed wife of the protagonist's neighbor.
