For Yassi Pressman, the new year is all about jumping back on the fitness train. According to the actress, she's doing this after taking a break and "letting go" in 2021, which affected her physique and health.
"I woke up one day from my fitness 'hibernation' & decided to get back on track," she wrote on Instagram last January 10.
"I had fun letting go and not caring, chomping down all the chips, eating fastfood almost everyday, drinking all the soda and snacking at midnight, but I listened to my body after letting go & I realized I wanted to go back to being strong, and hopefully this time even healthier than before."

Now a few weeks into her new workout regimen, Yassi shared some of her goals for the journey: "Loved my thiccccness tho, [peach emoji], I'm definitely going to TRY to keep that in places where I want it, hihi. Buttt I will definitely also try MY BEST to eleminate the new cellulite that I have developed lol. [crossaint and laughing emojis] Still sucking in here, hopefully soon I wont have to [emoji]."
Yassi is currently on a program by fitness coaches Darren Liu and Carlos Hellstern.

To track her progress, Yassi posted photos of herself from last year and when she started working out in January. She even made a hashtag for all her fitness posts called #YASSLETSGETIT!

Yassi also got real about her weight gain in another Instagram post. For one, she shared that she had to give away many of her jeans at one point. "Now I can't wait to wear some of my old faves in a couple of months," she says.
She talked about social media perception as well, coupling it with a photo of her physique in a different angle from her usual selfies.
The actress writes, "Don't believe social media all the time, angles that make some of us look perfect aren't always perfect in real life. Remember that kids! And thats okay! Just work towards your goals when you're ready!"

Finally, Yassi imparted some more body love advice for her followers. "You can be any beautiful shape or size. Like I said, there's nothing wrong with giving yourself a break & not being too hard on yourself," says the actress.
"Every body is beautiful, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. [heart emoji] So just do you. And always work towards your own happiness."

So inspiring, Yassi! Good luck on your new fitness journey!
