It looks like Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano have a penchant for surprise nuptials and engagements. Just like Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada who tied the knot in a hushed intimate wedding ceremony, the "Howhows" (Jessy and Luis' term of endearment) also decided to wed secretly in the presence of only a handful of guests on February 21, 2021.
While Jessy and Luis opted out of a lavish wedding celebration, they surely didn't forego sealing the deal in style. Just take a look at our blushing bride who looked every bit as stunning in her minimalist bridal look.
Jessy, who was styled by Patty Yap, walked down the aisle clad in a dainty yet oh-so chic square-neck gown made by local designer Patricia Santos. Jessy's frock may have been devoid of embellishments, but it certainly did not disappoint when it came to style and pretty little details. Her practical tea-length dress boasts of a combination of flattering features that are both trendy and timeless.
First off, we're dreaming of the sheer, billowy puff sleeves that offer just right the volume to make a statement. And let's not forget about her gown's trendy square neckline that easily showed off the bride's decolletage. A quick peep from behind and you'll see that her dress also has a slightly sultry low scoop back!
Jessy skipped the embellishments, but she didn't skimp on the fine details that make her gown extra dainty. We're swooning over the gorgeous pleated skirt that gracefully swayed with the bride as she walked down the aisle, underlining Jessy's ethereal look even more. So beautiful!
Completing her stunning bridal look are the Gypsophila flowers adorning her hair—a dainty and sweet touch to her simple bun. Fun fact: Did you know that Gypsophila or baby's breath means everlasting love in the language of flowers?
The bride also carried a gorgeous bouquet of red and pink roses by Gideon Hermosa, which complemented her newly minted husband's adorably pink three-piece suit, created by local designer Paulo Lazaro.
