In the French language, toujours means “always” or “still.” In a poetic sense, it implies a perpetual state of being, one that can withstand shifting times and nuances.
For the House of Dior, what has always remained consistent is its dedication to fine leatherwork, showcasing decades of savoir-faire. Under the creative leadership of Jonathan Anderson, this principle is translated into bags that easily assimilate into the lifestyles of the men and women who wear them. At his Fall/Winter 2026 show, he presented the Toujours, a tote that embodies the enduring charm of a Dior original.
Meet the Dior Toujours
In the first half of the year, Jonathan invited sartorialists to the park for his Fall/Winter 2026 collection. A refreshed interpretation of autumnal dressing, the collection was anchored on referential design codes, visually stimulating silhouettes, and intentional juxtaposition. In other words, it sought to highlight the grandeur in the mundane, which one can appreciate on a simple walk in the park.
“This collection is about the constant flow of ideas that is so typical of Parisian life, and the spectacle of the everyday,” the Irish designer said. Integrated within dramatic drapery and contemporary versions of the Bar jacket was the Toujours, which stood out for its Cannage exterior and slouchy shape.
A piece like the Toujours can be perceived as an elevated expression of the tote bag you reach for when heading out the door. At once capacious and delicate, the piece is characterized by its quilted façade, “CD” twist-lock, and built-in metal charms that spell out the maison’s name. Jonathan put a fresh spin on the model by also interpreting it as a hobo bag, utilizing its innate shapelessness to its advantage. The result is dainty, approachable, and imbued with an undeniable feminine flair.
How Much the Dior Toujours Costs
Primary iterations of the Toujours are rendered in calfskin or lambskin leather, while seasonal styles make use of denim or canvas. Prices vary depending on the fabrication and size, ranging from P200,000 to P300,000. Each style is also available in a variety of colors, from pastels to neutrals.
For comparison, a mini-sized leather hobo measures seven inches long, four inches high, and three inches wide, while a large Macrocannage measures 14.5 inches long, 10.5 inches high, and 8.5 inches wide. Choosing the right size ultimately depends on how you envision using your Toujours—whether as an evening clutch or a workhorse tote.

Asian Stars Wearing the Dior Toujours
Asia’s most stylish have already co-signed on the Toujours, promising to make it a perpetual fixture in their sartorial rotations.
A trio of Thai beauties—namely Lingling Kwong, Orm Kornnaphat, and Tu Tontawan—have all enlisted the piece to accentuate their looks. Whether styled for something dressy or casual, the Toujours proves to be a reliable accoutrement.
Elsewhere in the region, the purse has also become quite ubiquitous. Malaysian names Scha Al-Yahya and Lisha Ho have integrated it into their casual OOTDs, while Korean stylistas Yoon Young Bae and Irene Kim have also played up its girlish qualities.
