Who Is Lingling Kwong? All About the Thai-Chinese Actress

Lingling was born Sirilak Kwong on May 11, 1995, in Hong Kong, her father’s hometown. At 17, she moved to Thailand—her mother’s place of origin—where she eventually pursued a degree in tourism management at Khon Kaen University.

Utilizing her striking visuals and eloquent communication skills, Lingling joined the Miss Khon Kaen Silk Contest in 2016 and emerged as the 1st runner-up. A couple of years later, she signed up for the Miss Khao Suan Kwag Contest and once again placed as 1st runner-up. Her participation in the pageant circuit directed public attention towards her.

Debuting through soap operas in 2019, Lingling joined forces with fellow actress Orm Kornnaphat in Girls' Love series. After Ling appeared in titles such as Makkali The Love Tree (2022) and Royal Doctor (2023), #LingOrm collectively made its debut in the romance drama The Secret of Us (2024). The show was a hit across the region, earning Ling a Female Actress of the Year award at the 2024 Thailand Box Office Awards.

Upon their meteoric rise to fame, both Lingling and Orm were tapped by the house of Dior to attend their Spring/Summer 2025 show. While it was both of their first time participating in the international fashion circuit, they already made quite the splash with a cumulative earned media value (EMV) of $35.5 million. These days, Lingling is often seen wearing the Parisian brand, whether at upscale events or on the streets of Bangkok.
