"In the same way that you can't cut your own hair, you can’t take your own pictures at your own wedding," Charisse Tinio told Preview in 2024.
As the head honcho of Nice Print Photo, she speaks from years of experience documenting "I dos" from generations of couples. The company commemorates 20 years in the business this 2026, and looking back, Charisse has developed a more meaningful understanding of what truly makes a wedding memorable.
The grandiosity will always be there, but it's the intimate yet unmissable snapshots that truly make a ceremony spectacular.
Charisse Tinio on Nice Print Photo's Legacy of 20 Years
Alongside her husband, Jibby Tinio, Charisse founded Nice Print in 2006. The landscape of wedding photography was more straightforward at the time. Couples would hire documentation teams to simply take portraits of them before the ceremony, usually on plain backgrounds. But in the years that followed, alongside the shift from analog to digital, clients were requesting shots that carried more weight.
"Couples started valuing authenticity, movement, and real emotions," Charisse states. "The laughter, the tears, the quiet in-between moments. So our style naturally evolved to become more documentary, cinematic, and storytelling-driven."

Over time, Nice Print's strategies have shifted to the point where they've developed a style that's distinctly their own. Technology, undoubtedly, played a big role. But the available tools were only as good as the people using them, prompting the company to hone its talent.
"We focused on refining our eye for storytelling. At Nice Print, we always say that great wedding coverage isn’t just about taking beautiful photos—it’s about anticipating moments before they happen," Charisse puts it.
One major contributor to their growth has been the couples they've become associated with. "No two weddings are ever the same," the founder explains, emphasizing how important it is for them to listen to their clients and to tailor the services they can offer.
"Today’s millennial and Gen Z couples appreciate more candid, editorial, and experience-driven weddings. Our job is to adapt while still keeping our signature style," she says.

This curated experience is what Nice Print consistently thrives on. In whatever era, Charisse's advice for the team has remained consistent: "Look beyond the program or the timeline. The most meaningful moments are often the quiet ones."
Their photographers have since learned to be observant. There's always anticipation for tears to be shed or laughs to be had, and these intimate vignettes are the ones they're prepared to document as they happen. "When you do that, you don’t just show how the wedding looked—you show how it felt," Charisse muses.

20 years later, Charisse still gets giddy (and a bit watery-eyed, admittedly) whenever she witnesses a bride take her steps on the aisle. With the variety of clients they've had through the decades, what's remained consistent is the love that overflows from every ceremony. It's in these small, unguarded instances where one can really say that love trumps all.
"[I always tell the team that we] are not just documenting an event. We are preserving someone’s once-in-a-lifetime story," she expresses. The act of choosing one another—for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer—is the very essence that Nice Print aims to emulate through all of their work.
"Our role has always been to capture those fleeting, authentic moments and turn them into timeless memories that families will look back on for generations," Charisse declares.
"Every wedding deserves to be captured like it’s the most important story ever told—because for that couple, it truly is."
The Most Memorable Weddings Documented by Nice Print Photo
Ara Mina
Ara Mina was a queenly sight during her 2021 wedding held at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges. The actress and singer was shining in a couture creation by Leo Amodal, which featured hundreds of crystal embellishments and appliqués.

Glaiza de Castro
After wedding David Rainey in his hometown of Northern Ireland, Glaiza de Castro held a second ceremony surrounded by her closest kin. The beachside nuptials saw the GMA actress in a modernized Filipiniana by Jo Rubio. Even with its thigh-high slit and sheer panelling, the lace dress still had heaps of romance to it.

Ella Pangilinan
Ella Pangilinan married Enrique Miranda at the Puerta Real Gardens in the walled city of Intramuros, so it made sense for her to wear a terno. With pompous butterfly sleeves and intricate pattern-work, her Rajo Laurel dress became as timeless as she was on her big day.

Leila Alcasid
Months after she said "I do" to Mito Fabie in Australia, Leila Alcasid was once again a blooming bride at the Pinto Art Museum. This time around, she wore an off-shoulder number by Vania Romoff, which she considers to be her "dream wedding dress."
In an exclusive interview, the bride and the designer chatted with Preview about the making of her dress. Watch it here.

Devona Go Verde
With a scenic view of the ocean before them at the ultra-luxe Shangrila Mactan, Cebuana bride Devona Go Verde wore a cascading tulle masterpiece by Vietnamese label Hacchic Couture.

Karla Zulueta
Under the Tuscan sun, restaurateur Karla Zulueta welcomed happily-ever-after, swathed in ivory-hued florals care of master designer Francis Libiran.

Zeinab Harake
Content creator Zeinab Harake tied the knot with basketball star Ray Parks in 2025. For the big day, Zeinab pulled out all the stops and stepped out in a figure-flowing Michael Cinco original that was dotted with bridal florals.

Regine Velasquez
In 2010, OPM legends Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid professed their love for one another with a ceremony at Terrazas de Punta Fuego in Batangas. Ever the trendsetter, Asia's Songbird forewent traditional whites and went for a vivid red number from Monique Lhuillier for her saunter down the aisle. She had the pout to match!

Angel Locsin
Another bride who abides by her own rules was Angel Locsin. Exchanging vows with Neil Arce last 2021, the actress opted for a simple white blazer tossed over a casual all-black 'fit, punctuated with a spotless pair of sneakers.

Jennylyn Mercado
A marriage many people rooted for, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo made it official with a civil ceremony in 2021. For the intimate affair, the bride chose a mini-length blazer dress that allowed her to move without sacrificing a romantic vibe. These two took twinning to the next level!

Aika Robredo
Aika Robredo's nuptials were indeed a special day, and for more reasons than one. Her wedding dress was a fitting tribute to her late father Jesse Robredo, as it was crafted from the former Interior Secretary's barong pieces. Thanks to Jo Rubio, Aika was still joined by her father's spirit as she walked down the aisle.

Marian Rivera
In what could only be described as a spectacle, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes finally wed at the tail end of 2014. The power couple had legions of fans outside the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, waiting for the two to exit as one. For such a momentous occasion, the actress was a show-stopping sight in bespoke Michael Cinco. The piece's overflowing train and detailed patternwork made it a spectacle in its own right, befitting GMA primetime couple's most special day.
