As the cost of living continues to grow expensive by the day, finding a sizeable and comfortable place to live in can prove to be a struggle, especially for your bank account. That said, coming up with creative ways to maximize the use of a small space, like a condo or apartment, is the new name of the game. Shows like Tiny House Nation on Netflix is taking off, for example. A similar iteration of the series is the Youtube channel Living Big In A Tiny House with over two million subscribers, is also becoming a crowd favorite. In fact, this online show recently featured Filipino-American couple, Trysh and Saul, two therapists who are always on the move.
Their solution? A DIY tiny home built like a trailer, both small yet spacious, to fit all their needs for only an estimate cost of $25,000. "We tried to keep it down and use as much as we could that was free and sourced from places like Craigslist. Definitely doing it yourself saves a lot of money" Saul reveals on their Living Big episode.
