For the first time, Gabbi Garcia graced the streets of Paris as an attendee of the highly anticipated Fashion Week. Her debut was not only marked by her stylish designer outfits—including pieces by proudly homegrown designers like Neric Beltran and Vania Romoff—but also by her beautiful portraits.
She immortalized the core memory with a variety of short films, too, from lipsyncs and runway views to fittings and unboxing videos.
It’s easy to see that Gabbi was a natural in front of the camera. Apart from her innate talent, and the joy and thrill of the new experience, this could also be due to the man behind the lens—none other than her long-time beau, Khalil Ramos.
The couple, of more than eight years, have starred in a movie and a music video before, so they're certainly no strangers to working together. Of course, who can forget Front-Seat Foodies? Their three-season series brought happiness to thousands during the pandemic, as they virtually took audiences with them when they embarked on road trips to remarkable food spots in the Philippines.
As Khalil’s love and interest for photography and videography grew, he would frequently have Gabbi as his muse, sharing photos of her and of their travels together. Shooting with thought and intention, Khalil loaded the camera with the Kodak Gold 200, a 35mm film roll formulated to capture the warmth exuded in every moment. Its saturation is perfect for mellow moments like such.

“Where time slows and beauty lingers” was how Khalil described the Cotswolds, United Kingdom, one of the couple’s recent travel destinations. With the Contax G1, he translated the place’s serene ambiance into photographs, which feature Gabbi’s peaceful smile.
