Not to sound like a broken record, but skincare doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to be effective. In fact, even celebrities who have access the most luxurious products swear by methods they don't even pay premium for. A perfect example? Kathryn Bernardo's hack for smaller-looking pores, which is basically patting her skin down with a cold towel. (Spoiler: It really works!)
Just like Kathryn, Liza Soberano has an affordable skincare tip that will cost you approximately zero pesos. She shared it in her Get Unready with Me vlog along with her current go-to products!

"One that I learned from my obsession with watching SkincareByHyram or any skincare videos [is that] you always have to check the ingredients that are on the back label of the products," says Liza. Binge-watching these videos also made the actress a more informed consumer—"I became very conscious with all the products that I put on my face and what ingredients they have," she adds.
Though reading ingredients lists may sound a bit intimidating, it's actually not that complicated if you know what to look for. Read our quick guide on reading skincare labels like a pro below:
In the same vlog, Liza also shared what she uses for her daily double cleansing routine. First is a micellar water from Nivea, which she uses religiously with a cotton pad to remove all her makeup.

The actress then follows it up with the Fair & Glow Hokkaido Rose Whip Foam to get the rest of the makeup and dirt off at the end of the day. According to Liza, she loves the mild scent plus the fact that it doesn't irritate her super sensitive skin. And because she loves reading ingredients lists, she was pleasantly surprised that it's packed with antioxidants!
