Han So Hee challenged her acting skills in the hit Netflix series, My Name. In her past projects, So Hee portrayed a pretty villainess in A World Of The Married or a charming girl next door in Nevertheless. In My Name, Yoon Ji-woo witnessed her father's murder and was determined to seek revenge. Ji-woo joined a drug cartel and trained to be a swift and skilled killer.
My Name is action-packed, and So Hee engaged in a lot of combat scenes—the total opposite of her previous roles. She revealed that she gained 10 kilos of muscle when she prepared for her role.

So Hee preferred to wear little to no makeup in some scenes. "It was my idea not to wear any makeup. I only put on a bare minimum. There are also quite a lot of scenes where I wear absolutely zero makeup. I just felt like I had to do that for the character named Ji-woo. I wanted her to be seen as raw as possible," she shared with YTN.
In her interview with The Korea Herald, she further explained: "I focused on how the audience would accept this character. I don’t think the viewers can sympathize with Ji-woo's story and feelings if I had worn fancy makeup."

My Name is available for streaming on Netflix.
