We absolutely can’t wait for this weekend’s new episodes of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay! There are only six episodes left before our fave K-drama wraps up, and our questions are all finally being answered one by one. That said, if the teaser preview of Episode 11 is anything to go by, then it looks like happy days await Ko Mun-yeong (Seo Ye Ji) and Moon Gang-tae (Kim Soo Hyun) at long last. But apart from sparks flying, we also can’t help but notice how Ko Mun-yeong’s wardrobe choices have changed. While she’s still decked in designer threads from head to toe, her overall sartorial aesthetic now seemingly leans toward the softer, more feminine side. Even the colors are—dare we say—happier!
ICYMI, we previously reported about the real meanings behind the characters’ outfits in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. Jo Sang Gyeong, the show’s costume designer, has earlier revealed that the way Ko Mun-yeong dresses is in fact a “self-defense mechanism” to camouflage her vulnerabilities, and as she eventually learns to open up, her wardrobe will also reflect her changing personality, resulting in more “down-to-earth” outfits. Hence, her new looks in the upcoming episodes could actually mean that our beloved leading lady is finally showing some personal growth and is beginning to heal from her inner wounds.
Below, check out the new outfits we can’t wait to see on Ko Mun-yeong this weekend:
1. This multi-colored floral dress from Sandro
Ko Mun-yeong looks rather blooming in this dominantly pastel frock with paisley-like patterns. We love its slightly puffed sleeves, piped neckline, and flared skirt—it's the perfect date outfit, if you ask us!

Long printed dress, $490 (approximately P24,176), SANDRO, sandro-paris.com
2. This polka-dotted mini dress from Dolce & Gabbana
We’ve seen Ko Mun-yeong don statement-making bows in her OOTDs before, but nothing quite like this dotted mini dress with a pussy bow. Rendered in sheer fabric, this dainty frock that's the stuff of dreams is truly a welcome surprise.

Short mini polka-dot print organza dress, $2300 (approximately P113,482), DOLCE & GABBANA, dolcegabbana.com
3. This modest yellow look from Celine
Our leading lady looks like a ray of sunshine in this monochromatic light yellow ensemble straight from Celine’s runway. Swathed in a smocked high-neck silk blouse and a printed jacquard skirt, Ko Mun-yeong seems to have a growing penchant for pastel hues and floral prints. Not that we're complaining!

Smocked Folk Blouse in Silk Georgette, $1700 (approximately P83,878); Box Pleat Skirt with Floral Tapestry Embroidery, $1950 (approximately P96,213), both CELINE, celine.com
It's Okay to Not Be Okay tells the story of Moon Gang-tae and Ko Mun-yeong, who develop an unusual romance while healing each other’s emotional and psychological wounds. It's now streaming exclusively on Netflix and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
