Seems like glamorous heels are a thing of the past.

As fashion girls, we're all for a little experimentation, even when it comes to bridal looks—and we're not just talking about the wedding dress. Bridal shoes have always been one of the top concerns for brides-to-be, and recently, we've seen that comfort is taking precedence over style. Whether it's glittery sneakers or personalized ones, donning a pair of rubber soles seems to be the wedding look du jour

The latest bride who joined this army of flat-soled troopers is none other than Joyce Pring. The TV personality and content creator tied the knot with fellow Unang Hirit host Juancho Triviño in a chic garden wedding at Sofitel Plaza.

Naturally, we took an interest in the blushing bride's gown, not knowing about the secret pair of cool shoes hiding underneath the tulle. Apparently, Joyce wore leather boots with her wedding dress. Leather. Boots. Let that sink in, because it's a bold bridal move. Makeup artists Gela Laurel shared a photo on her Instagram stories of Joyce preening at her cool leather kicks, which appear to be brown chelsea boots.

Obviously, her shoes were a stark contrast to her ultra-feminine, floral-appliqued dress, which featured a ball gown skirt. The dress is from New York-based bridal salon Spina Bride. It was designed by French-Israeli designer Liz Martinez.

If you think the surprising details end there, well, know that Joyce's dress wasn't white but nude. It isn't obvious in photos, but upon closer look, the color is actually a light, creamy nude, which was overlaid with the floral appliques. Other dramatic details were her plunging neckline, voluminuous skirt, and long train.

Joyce's beauty look was done by makeup artist Gela Laurel and hair stylist Jerry Javier. For her makeup, Joyce opted for a natural look with pops of pink that were placed on her lids and lips, while her blush was very minimal. As for her hair, she opted for a side part and a volumized crown.

The garden wedding had a rustic theme and featured lush green foliage accented with flowers. It looked stunning against the golden sunlit sky. The reception was just as beautiful, and felt like a grand garden party complete with chandeliers. It was styled by Michael Ruiz

To match the wedding's rustic theme, Joyce's entourage was clad in orange dresses of different styles.

Joyce also made sure her bouquet fit right in with theme, and the warm colors definitely added a touch of whimsy to her dainty dress.

The wedding was sophisticated yet laidback, a mark of Joyce's taste. To prove just how laidback this cool bride is, she performed a girl power dance during the reception! For her popstar look, she wore a sheer blouse, jeans, and another pair of boots.

To make the event feel more special (and since online documentation is very important!), the wedding had its own Instagram filter, made by Juancho's sister, Marby Triviño. Check it out below:
