Have a nice, tailored pair of pants stocked in your shopping cart? Well, we implore you to hold the purchase for now. As demonstrated on the high-brow S/S 2023 runways of Miu Miu, Victoria Beckham, Bottega Veneta, and Coperni, it's time to ditch the pants. Yep, that's right. It's the new hubadera fashion trend we didn't see coming!

One part risque and two parts effortlessly cool, the "no pants" look is currently a favorite among the industry's coolest gals. Sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner definitely seem to be making a case for it, and so does Bella Hadid and Tessa Thompson. It gives a whole new meaning to the term "off-duty," we'll tell you that.
Now, we know that this trend isn't the most practical, since not everyone is a supermodel who can bare their tidy whities on their everyday jaunts. But the trick to pulling it off seems to be having your tops—be it a t-shirt, a button-down, or a blazer—oversized, and then opting for higher cut footwear that can cover up the real estate on your legs.

Local Celebrities Rocking the "No Pants" Look
1. Vice Ganda
Vice Ganda is no stranger to foregoing bottoms, and is, in fact, a purveyor of the look as evidenced by her daily It's Showtime 'fits. One of her go-to combos is to pair an extra-extra-extra large graphic tee with a covetable pair of sneakers and cute socks. Designer bag, of course, in tow.

It's also a reliable fashion formula when she wants to go monochromatic for the day. Here, the comedienne dons the sweetest shade of baby pink via a windbreaker, Nike Air Jordans, and a Prada Re-edition Nylon bag. A little zooming in will confirm that she has a pair of biker shorts on for some security.

2. Bianca Umali
A Gen Z star who's been posting up a storm of pant-less, cool-girl outfits is Bianca Umali. She sure loves good o'le band tees, especially when they're long enough to cover up what needs to be covered up. We've seen her team them with killer pairs of boots and luxury arm candy and accessories.

A button-down shirt (one she possibly borrowed from her beau Ruru Madrid) is also something she's rocked sans any bottoms. To elongate her figure and to match tones with it, she slipped into a pointy pair of stilettos.

3. Kathryn Bernardo
This subtly sexy trend recently got Kathryn Bernardo's stamp of approval! For her last "Aivee day" of 2022, the actress donned an oversized gray blazer, chunky black loafers, a Lady Dior handbag, and, yes, you guessed it, no pants—well, kind of. She actually had a pair of mini denim cutoffs on, which were barely visible, so that's a styling hack we're definitely keeping in mind!

4. Andrea Brillantes
On one of her days-off, Andrea Brillantes gave a nod to the academia aesthetic with only a baggy white button-down, an argyle sweater vest, and knee-high boots on. Class is in session!

5. Aubrey Miles
Up for some "risky business," Aubrey Miles checked in during one of her vacays in nothing more than an oversized white button-down, ankle booties, and a necktie.

6. Issa Pressman
Repping her very own fashion label, Issa Pressman proved that rocking no pants can still look chic and put-together. She buttoned up a blazer, slipped into her boots, and wrapped a printed scarf around her visage. Love!
