Although swimwear trends have limited variety, they come and go in impactful waves and last relatively longer. There was a time we were all obsessed with white bikinis. Then nude ones. Then square necklines and high-waisted bottoms. And now, people are currently loving itty bitty pastel bikinis, floral prints, and mismatched sets. They're all pretty dainty, but here's a trend that's making a splash in a fierce way: animal print bikinis

If you're thinking that animal prints and bikinis don't exactly make sense, then hear us out. Animal prints actually conquered the runways this Fall/Winter season (such as Paco Rabanne's tiger print dresses) and extended well into the Spring/Summer 2020 shows (like Balenciaga's leopard coat), so donning spots or stripes by the shore is actually an extension of this dominating trend.

Plus, don't you think wearing something so 'feral' on the beach is a refreshing take on vacation style? People often wear solid bright colors, so you're sure to stand out among the crowd. It's also a chance to flex your 'fashown' side!

Here, we've rounded up all the celebrities who have recently made a case for the sartorial power of the animal print bikini, and we hope this makes you to consider it as well!

1. Pia Wurtzbach takes a walk on the wild side with a rust-colored zebra print bikini.

If you're not fond of loud colors, then take cues from Pia and cop something in warm tones like tan and rust.

2. Sue Ramirez embraces her inner diva by sporting Eight Mermaid's "wild cat print" bikini with gold hoop earrings and cat-eye sunglasses.

Is it okay to wear accessories to the beach? Of course! Just do it minimally and make sure they're tarnish-free. Choose one statement accessory to go with your spotted swimsuit.

3. Camille Co is also a fan of the wild cat print.

The great thing about animal prints is the fact that you can stand out with minimum effort. Here, Camille looks effortless in her wild cat print triangle bikini, which she accessorized with a shell bracelet.

4. Phoemela Baranda rocks a python print set in bold black.

Not a fan of anything feline? Go for something sleek but equally dramatic like Phoemela's python print bikini. This would also look stunning underneath a sheer black coverup or caftan!

5. Kylie Verzosa slays in a snakeskin Boom Sason bikini.

Now this look is the epitome of stylish beach fun! We love how Kylie accessorized her sultry snakeskin swimsuit with the largest woven hat ever. It makes her look like a modern beach goddess!

6. Liz Uy makes a case for the leopard one-piece swimsuit.

If you think an animal print one-piece is too much, let Liz prove otherwise. Her look is balanced yet striking because of her matching sunnies, woven hat, and minimal accessories.

7. Hindy Weber conquers Bali in a leopard print one-piece.

Forget those tropical colors and go for something a little wilder—literally. Take inspiration from lush jungles and don swimsuits in leopard print or cheetah print. It'll get you in the Bali spirit, too!

8. Bella Hadid parties it up in an itsy bitsy leopard bikini.

Who says these animal print bikinis were only made for swimming and taking photos for the 'gram? What's great about them is they're cool enough to transition you to nighttime events like beachside bar hopping or cocktails at the club.

Now that you've seen the trend's potential, what animal print are you eyeing to cop?
