Local vlogger Anna Cay is ending the year as a married woman! Anna just tied the knot with her long-time beau, Geloy Villalobos, in a charming city wedding yesterday. After months of planning and hurdles, the couple is now able to say their lifelong vows to each other.

As with all weddings, our focal point and primary interest lies on the bridal gown. And boy, Anna's wedding look certainly did not disappoint. She wore a stunning, sheer gown, made by local designer Mak Tumang. Yup, the very one who also made Miss Universe Catriona Gray's memorable evening gown!
The gown highlighted Anna's best assets as she wore a gorgeous ivory dress that boasts of all-over floral appliqués, a decolletage-baring neckline, and long tulle cape. Below, we further dissect everything we love about her lovely frock!
The Material
It's not a secret that the bride has a short and petite frame, which is exactly why we're all nodding our heads in agreement for her choice of fabric. Sheer and featherlight textile is a clever choice for women of the same height and built. No need to worry about ball gowns will engulf their frame or other opaque dresses that can make them look even shorter. By going for a sheer dress, Anna can focus on accentuating her curves and elongating her legs at the same time. What's more, by adding a long cape-like tulle detail on her shoulders, Anna looked more statuesque as the detail gave a vertical illusion that lengthened her body.
The Details
If you're going for something sheer on your wedding day, then you need cool details to add more coverage to your look. For this, the designer opted for embroidery and 3D floral appliqués that made the dress look more dynamic. One quick detail to note, too: Anna's train also has embroidered leaves on them, making the entire dress look extra dreamy. We also like how Anna's dress features a nice sweetheart neckline and low back that accentuated the bride's lovely collarbone and framed her long ponytail well.
The Unitard
Perhaps the best and our fave part of her dress is the fact that it's lined wth a skintoned unitard underneath! This gave the bride maximum comfort and liberty to move about and enjoy her wedding! Anna even shares on Instagram, "It doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a gown at all. Comfort and elegance entwined!" Adorable!
