" I don't usually watch K-dramas because I find it tiring to read the subtitles. But, I heard lots of good reviews on Crash Landing on You so I gave it a try. Next thing I knew, I had already finished the whole series!! It was so well written! Now on to my next series: Descendants of the Sun!"
"Kingdom and Crash Landing on You. That’s it. Then repeat."
"I’ve watched so many already but my all time favorite is Tomorrow with You! It’s a beautiful series that tackles time travel in a new light. The love story is also very subtle and real, which I love. And they planted so many little clues and objects for you to 'hold on to' throughout the series that you actually feel involved. I feel like this particular series would also be a beautiful film if ever they decide to turn it into one! It stars one of my favorite actresses too: Shin Min-A who was also in one of my favorites: Oh My Venus. There are so many beautiful K-dramas, but yes, if you’re looking for a new series to watch I recommend Tomorrow with You!"
"Crash Landing on You! It's actually the first K-drama I've watched, and I'm still not done. I'm savoring it. I LOVE CAPTAIN RI!"
"My all time favorite is Full House with Rain and Song Hye-kyo, and My Sassy Girl! Dun ako nag-start with my Korean addiction. I’m currently watching Vagabond, Oldboy, and I Saw the the Devil, medyo brutal lang pero magaling, eh!"
Jane de Leon
"The Moon That Embraces the Sun, and Missing You."
"Medyo mga luma such as The Heirs (Inheritors on Netflix). It's my favorite K-drama. I almost memorized all of the scenes, and of course it stars Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye! It’s a feel good, kilig drama with a bunch of your favoite actors. [There's also] Who Are You: School 2015, a series that you’ll think will be just another high school kilig story, but no, it's also a thriller! Also, Kim So-hyun portrays two different characters here so you’ll see how good of an actress she is. It's also where I first saw Nam Joo-hyuk. P.S., nakakagigil din yung malditang bully dito hehehe. [I also like ] Love Rain. I love Girls Generation so much, I watched Love Rain because of SNSD’s Im Yoon-ah. Masakit yung love story dito 'cause they’re not sure if they'll have a chance to be together."
"My other favorites include Weightlifting Fairy. This was my second intro to K-drama. If you want something light and easy (with a huge chunk of kilig) to watch, then this is the perfect way to start your journey! There's also W. I found the story so cool. It’s about this whole parallel universe/multi dimensional story! Memories of Alhambra is another interesting kind of K-drama. It’s an augmented reality story kind of thing! Super cool! It’s also a plus that my crush is in the drama, haha! And Itaewon Class. It’s got a good story line, plus Park Seo Joon is the lead, so enough said."
