Apart from Heart Evangelista and Tootsy Angara who showed their support by wearing a rainbow pin at yesterday's State of the Nation Address, more celebrities are now rallying to pass the SOGIE (Sexual Orientation Gender Identity and Expression) Equality Bill, a legislation that would protect all individuals against discrimination based on their sexual orientation. The bill is currently on its third reading before the House of the Representatives, but is stuck in the Senate with solons like Tito Sotto, Mannny Pacquiao, and Joel Villanueva opposing its passage.
That said, we can't fight hate with more hate. Instead, personalities on social media are spearheading the #LoveIsAllWeNeed movement to support the LGBT community—and they need your help, too! Let's show some love to Senators Tito Sotto, Manny Pacquiao, Joey Villanueva, and other opposing solons to help them realize the need for the passage of the bill. To participate, simply send your online love letter to the aforementioned senators and sincerely ask for their support and love. Take cue from these celebs who already started the plea for equality:
