Korean actor Park Bo Gum officially has a new addition to his list of talents. He is now a licensed barber, too!
The K-drama star is currently enlisted in the Korean navy for his mandatory military service. He began serving in August 2020, shortly before the premiere of Record of Youth.

According to navy officials, Bo Gum passed the National Technical Qualification Examination's practical test to become a skilled technician—specifically, a barber. He took the test last December 2021, and was said to have prepared diligently for it.
ICYDK, it's common for soldiers to obtain certificates like the actor's while serving in the military. Doing so is also said to be highly encouraged for self-development.

Bo Gum was originally slated to be discharged from the navy on April 30, 2022. However, due to the pandemic, he was unable to use his vacation days and will likely be discharged in March instead.
Looking forward to your safe return, Bo Gum!
