If you're an older sibling, then you've probably experienced being in denial and extra protective as you witness your younger sisters gracefully mature with age. Case in point: Daniel Padilla, whose sister Magui Ford has finally turned of legal age. Last night, she celebrated her 18th birthday with a star-studded bash. Daniel and Magui shared a very sweet moment when they slow-danced to the song"The Way You Look Tonight." He even handed her a bouquet of flowers!
While a young gentleman tried to snap a photo with Magui, Daniel was ever the protective older brother as he gave them a long and cold stare.
Even with those sunglasses on, you could feel Daniel's eyes on him. LOL!
Right after the photo op, Magui cheekily consoled her brother, who still kept staring at the young gentleman. Hilarious!
Despite the funny staredown, Daniel and Magui didn't forget to have fun. They even jumped at the chance to dominate the stage together!
The brother and sister set the stage on fire as they belted (and danced) a song together. They'd make quite the dynamic duo, don't you think?
For his OOTD, Daniel sported a violet three-piece suit (worn over a casual black tee) and a green leather beret. To give it his personal eclectic spin, he completed the look with a pair of cool, black-and-white brogues and dark sunglasses.
Of course, the other half of the #KathNiel love team graced Magui's birthday bash as well. Kathryn showed up wearing a monochromatic outfit in bright yellow silk. She donned a body-skimming button-down and paired it with an equally gorgeous mini skirt. She finished off the look with a pair of white ankle-strapped heels.
Magui's debut was held at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion last February 28, 2020. Celebrity guests included Angelina Cruz, Kobe Paras, Vice Ganda, Lorin Gutierrez, Venice Gutierrez, and Ruffa Gutierrez.
The debut featured an elegant, garden dinner party theme, replete with golden chandeliers and banquet tables decked out with flowers and candles.
We're sure Magui, Daniel, and the rest of the debutante's family and friends had a blast as they celebrated the life of this charming young woman—no matter how in denial her kuya may be!
