1. He’s a Taurus.
Kim Seon Ho was born on May 8, 1986 in Seoul, South Korea. Yup, even at 35 years old, he's just as charming as he was when he was a baby!

2. He started acting in theater.
In an interview, he tells the story of how he started acting after graduating from the Seoul Institute of the Arts with a degree in Broadcasting. “I wanted to act but didn’t know how to start, so I decided to take a six-month break. One day, I met a junior of mine who was already in the scene and he asked why I hadn’t thought of stage acting when I love theatre so much. So, I thought, ‘Oh yeah? Should I give it a go?’” he shared. After that, it was only a matter of time before fans would flock to venues just to see his stage productions.
3. He got his first TV role in his 30s.
Seon Ho is living proof that it's never too late to reach for your dreams! He was already 32 years old when he made his official TV debut with a role on Good Manager. Starting out in a role as a regular staff member who gets bossed around, who would have thought he would take on such powerful, internationally-known characters after only a few years?
4. "Start-Up" was his literal “start” to stardom.
Seon Ho openly shares how thankful he is for playing the swoon-worthy second lead of the 2020 K-Drama Start-Up. “I was really grateful and happy to play the character of Han Ji Pyeong, who has an admirable role as someone who helps other people,” he said in an interview last December.
He adds, expressing that, “Start Up was like a gift that allowed me to meet Han Ji Pyeong. I’m super happy and grateful that many people are recognizing the effort I put into portraying Han Ji-pyeong’s character.”

This “good boy” was able to connect with the audience so easily with this role, probably because of his striking appeal and impeccable acting skills. Even if he wasn’t the show’s main lead, his young, intelligent character became quite the idol. Fans weren’t the only ones to give him some well-deserved recognition, as he also won the Best Emotive Award at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards’ and topped the 2020 November Brand Reputation Index.
5. He wrote and released a single this year.

During a virtual fan meet hosted by Globe last March, he shared how he would want to have another vacation in Cebu.

"I heard that Filipino food is amazing," he said, "I really want to taste Filipino food. I went to Cebu once and I really enjoyed the food that time. The actor revealed that he's a fan of the American movie Wonder, which is about a young boy with a rare facial abnormality. As it turns out, Seon Ho is also a sucker for tear-jerking dramas. “It’s so sad but it has [a lot of] lessons.” he said. “I think it’s something we should all watch.”
10. He’s in talks to play a Half-Filipino for his first film.
After years of experience in TV and theater, Seon Ho is finally about to start his career in film! Last September 6, Korean media outlets announced that he has been in talks to appear in Sad Tropics, a movie circling the boxing dreams a half-Korean, half-Filipino son.
His agency, SALT Entertainment, responded by saying that the actor is still reviewing the offer. For now, we’re enthusiastically waiting for more updates on what role he’ll be playing in the film, which is notably going to be directed by Park Hoon Jung, known for hit movies such as New World, V.I.P. and The Witch: Part 1.
