Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah’s highly anticipated romcom, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, is finally happening! Just less than a week ago, tvN shared official photos of the drama’s cast during their first-ever table read and, unsurprisingly, all eyes were on the handsome tandem who are set to play love interests on the show.
Seon Ho and Min Ah’s pairing had already caught the public’s attention at the onset of the show’s announcement, as excited fans were quick to point out their matching dimples. Now dubbed the “Dimple Couple,” it seems their first photos together definitely lived up to the hype after it caused a major frenzy among expectant viewers.
In particular, the internet couldn’t help but go crazy over Seon Ho and Min Ah's palpable chemistry on photo. “How can mere news like this make me cry even before the drama starts? Can't we skip to August right away?” wrote one clearly enthusiastic Twitter user.

Fans have also endlessly clamored for Netflix to acquire the show, and it looks like the streaming giant has heard their calls. You read that right. It's recently been announced that Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is officially coming to Netflix soon!
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is based on the 2004 South Korean romantic comedy film, Mr. Hong. It centers on Min Ah as Yoon Hye-jin, a picture-perfect woman who works as a well-respected dentist. However, when her seemingly ideal life falls into shambles, she somehow finds herself moving to the seaside village of Gongjin. In the midst of attempting to restart her career, she crosses paths with, and eventually develops a fondness for, Seon Ho’s Hong Doo-shik, who’s popularly known in the area as Mr. Hong. Although unemployed, Mr. Hong is a jack of all trades and can take on any odd job if it means helping out the locals of Gongjin.
Joining Seon Ho and Min Ah in the cast are Lee Sang Yi, Gong Min Jung, In Gyo Jin, Kim Young Ok, Jo Han Cul, and Lee Bong Ryun, among others.
Directed by Yoo Je Won (The King: Eternal Monarch, Hi Bye, Mama!), the K-drama is set to launch in the latter half of 2021.
