Insatiable's returning to Netflix for a second season with a true pageant queen on board! We're talking about our very own Gloria Diaz, a.k.a. the Philippines' first ever Miss Universe, crowned in 1969. According to her daughter Isabelle Daza in an Instagram post, the actress is set to play herself in a cameo appearance for the show's sixth episode. Nothing like the OG queen to teach these teeny-bopper newbies how it's done!

Despite backlash over the show's initial premise for propagating fat shaming, Insatiable's second season is set to premiere on the streaming site this October 11, 2019, picking up from the awry events of season one's finale.
Season two's official synopsis reads "We find Patty dealing with, well, a lot. Her past is haunting her, and her struggle to be “good” is becoming harder and harder each day as she battles her inner demons. And Bob—well—he’s helping her cover up Christian’s murder, but just how far will his loyalties go? Will he continue to allow his romantic relationships, his career ambitions, and his integrity to take a beating, just to help Patty pursue her pageant dreams? And when beauty queens start going missing, who’s to blame? Patty’s rage? Or is there more at play?"
