Heads up, lovers of all things Korean! In case you missed it, Erwan Heussaff has just started cooking recipes he “wouldn’t usually make” in his kitchen—and by that, he meant dishes popularized by your favorite K-dramas! Perhaps heavily influenced by his wife Anne Curtis (who’s been especially vocal about being a huge fan of Goblin, Crash Landing on You, and many other Korean series), The Fat Kid Inside has noticeably been busy shooting episodes highlighting—you guessed it!—K-drama food. Now we don’t know about you, but this series is absolutely making us hungry!
Craving your fave Korean dishes, too? Check out the K-drama recipes he has released on his YouTube so far, featuring mouthwatering dishes from CLOY and Itaewon Class:
1. Crash Landing on You

Erwan, who admittedly finished the entire series with Anne, calls the Korean Fried Chicken “the real star of the show.” Can’t blame him, though! That crunchy, flavorful fried chicken has also never failed to make our mouths water every time it appeared onscreen. In Erwan’s vlog, he created not just one but three versions: one that’s classic fried and two that are glazed with honey lemon and spicy sauce. Watch his video below!
2. Itaewon Class

You can’t possibly tell us you finished Itaewon Class without ever going hungry just by watching Park Saeroyi (Park Seo Joon) and Ma Hyun-yi (Lee Joo Young) cook inside the Dan Bam kitchen. Their signature dishes? The Soft Tofu Kimchi Stew and Spicy Pork Stir Fry! Erwan recreated both dishes, plus the classic kimchi jjigae in the video below.
We NEED more K-drama recipes, Erwan!
