We’re calling it: Heo Nam Jun is the breakout actor of this K-drama cycle. The My Royal Nemesis star’s Instagram followers has shot to almost one million upon the romantic comedy’s release, and he's currently sitting at number 12 in the latest Rising Actor Brand Reputation Ranking in South Korea.
If you’re eager to know more about CEO Cha Se-Gye in real life, here’s a fun fact: he actually has a twin brother!
Heo Nam Jun Talks About His Twin Brother
In a recent guesting with his co-star Lim Ji Yeon for the tea time talk show Salon Drip, the normally private Nam Jun shared more info about his twin brother. When asked what most people are curious about, he said that they always wonder if he and his twin look alike. “We look completely different,” revealed Nam Jun. "We really don't look alike. My brother is a total T and a planner, and physically he's taller than me and has darker skin."
Nam Jun’s twin, whose name was not revealed, is younger than him but according to the actor, he never called him “hyung.” He added that he would wear his brother’s hand-me-down clothes because his twin hit an early growth spurt.
Ironically, Nam jun claims that his brother was more famous than him when they were younger, sharing that he personally wasn’t popular as a child. “I've received confessions, but not many,” he said.

My Royal Nemesis centers on Kang Dan-shim, a royal concubine sentenced to death during the Joseon dynasty. Her soul ends up possessing the body of Shin Seo-ri, a struggling actress in the modern era 300 years later. While navigating her new world, she crosses paths with Cha Se-gye, a ruthless, hot-headed chaebol heir who reluctantly falls for Seo-ri’s charms.
My Royal Nemesis is currently ongoing and streamable on Netflix.
