  1. She rose to fame on the Korean singing competition “Sing Again 4”

Gwyn’s claim to fame came from her participation in the Korean singing competition Sing Again 4. She went viral in early 2026 for her spectacular voice, which drew praise from its esteemed Korean judging panel that included SNSD’s Taeyeon, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and veteran singer Baek Ji Young. Out of 81 contestants, Gwyn finished the show in second place just behind champion Le Oh Wook.

After the show, Gwyn appeared as a guest on the famous Korean variety show Knowing Bros where the hosts called her a “genius from the Philippines.” She also revealed in the episode that her love for music started at a young age, playing piano at five and learning guitar at just eight years old.
