Isabelle Daza on Her Postpartum Weight Loss Struggles
“Every time I want to tear myself down by hyper-focusing on my weight, I try to remember where I started. Seventy pounds gained after my first pregnancy, 60 pounds after my second, and 50 pounds after my third. I despised how I looked in photos,” she shared in an Instagram Reel posted on June 25, 2025. Isabelle went on to explain that she bought new clothes, grew accustomed to covering up her body, and even edited her photos—all in an effort to try to be her old self again.

Regular exercise is often linked to the release of “happy hormones,” but going to the gym felt more saddening and frustrating for her. Being surrounded by friends became a trigger for insecurity, no matter how much she loved being with them.

Despite these challenges, Isabelle powered through and shared how she was able to do so. She stated, “Taking it one day at a time helped. Small goals like getting my steps in helped. Surrounding myself with people who lifted me up, people who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, people who loved me even when I didn’t think I deserved it.”
To end, Isabelle gave a heartwarming reminder to face the process one day at a time. It’s by having the dedication and commitment in “showing up to do the work, being accountable, being consistent, and lastly, thanking my body and loving myself for getting through this journey every step of the way."
