LOOK: Celeste Cortesi’s Warm-Toned Glam Makeup Look at the 71st Miss Universe

For Her Eyes
People with hooded eyes, like Celeste, need a different approach to makeup. Because of the fold, hooded eyes tend to look smaller and droopier when usual eye techniques are used.
To enhance Celeste’s eyes, a deep brown shade was used to contour along the outside of her natural eye crease. This was then blended upwards to give her eyes a more lifted look. A shimmery golden shade was then added to the center of her lids to make her eyes pop and appear bigger. By shading her lower lash line, they gave her look more depth and helped draw attention to the shimmery lid even more. To recreate this look, we recommend using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette which includes all shades of brown and a number of shimmery gold eyeshadows.

When it comes to eyeliner, tightlining is the best way not to overwhelm hooded eyes. Only the outer edges and wing of Celeste’s liner are really visible while the middle to inner corners is either tightlined or left untouched. The same goes for her lashes, where only the outer edges have more volume so as to overpower the center of her lids.
For Her Face
Celeste has those pointed and perfectly sculpted cheeks, and it was only emphasized even more thanks to her contour. They used a warm-toned contour shade and a summery coral blush that perfectly complemented her sun-kissed complexion. We recommend using a stick contour such as Fenty Beauty's Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick for that naturally sculpted look, and the Benefit Sunny Warm Coral Blush.

For Her Lips
To finish it all off, they used a pinkish-brown nude lippie that appears to be just the right MLBB shade for Celeste. For your perfect MLBB shade, we recommend Natasha Denona's I Need a Nude Lipstick line that has 20 nude lipstick shades for every skin tone.
