Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is not just a self-confessed shoe collector. Asia's Songbird is also bonkers for designer arm candy. In her latest vlog on YouTube, Regine reveals her favorite designer bags and shares the special stories that transpired as she acquired each tote. To be honest, it feels like we know her better after watching the video! Here are just some of the new facts we learned about her, in bag bullets:
1. Regine started collecting bags even before getting married.
She especially loves Fendi bags. In fact, when she was starting out, she purchased two sequinned Baguette evening bags which she still uses until now.
She also recounts a horror story that made her stop buying Fendi for a while. Regine was so excited to get her hands on this blue Fendi shoulder bag that she went to the boutique and bought it right away...only to find out that the bag was marked down by 50% off the day after! She stopped buying from the brand for a while after ths heartbreak.
2. Regine is not so keen on owning Hermès bags.
But it's because she's afraid of getting addicted to collecting them! However, Regine still owns quite a number of Birkins, all thanks to her hubby, Ogie Alcasid. Regine also owns a Kelly that was gifted by Dra. Vicki Belo on the singer's 30th year in the industry.
Ogie also surprised Regine with a Gucci Dionysus bag for their eighth wedding anniversary, BTW! So sweet!
3. Regine buys bags to reward herself.
After all, she's a hardworking woman who deserves a pretty treat! Her latest purchase though, a Louis Vuitton On-the-Go Monogram bag was bought in celebration of her birthday.
