Vice Ganda and Lucas Andalio star in MMFF 3rd Best Picture "Call Me Mother"

The 51st edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival has brought powerhouse comedienne Vice Ganda and child star Lucas Andalio together for Call Me Mother. The comedy-drama revolves around Twinkle, played by Vice, and his struggle to keep his adoptive son Angelo in his life. With the likes of Nadine Lustre, John "Sweet" Lapus, Brent Manalo, and Mika Salamanca also in its cast, the movie is currently dominating the box office with Christmastime audiences.

Less than a week after their nationwide premiere, Vice and Lucas have been riding high, especially during the film festival's awards night last December 27. Right before the festivities began, Vice gave her on- and off-screen son a special present for his MMFF debut.

Vice Ganda's Designer Bag Gift to Lucas Andalio

In a reel uploaded by makeup artist Jelly Eugenio, Lucas can be seen visiting her "mama Twinkle" as she was getting ready for the big night. While she was perched on a makeup chair, she instructed the child actor to open a gift she prepared for him. Emerging from the box was a backpack decked out in Dior's unmistakable Oblique motif. Lucas was too excited to put down the bag that he just had to try it on immediately! The two leads shared a sweet hug before snapping photos and heading to the blue carpet.

Lucas' new backpack is a pretty covetable piece for fashionistas of all ages. While there's certainly no stopping kids like him to wearing the designer carrier to school, it can also be worn by adults for office days or overseas trips. At P170,000, it's a bag that will definitely catch the gaze of those around you.
