ICYMI, “Call Me Mother" is now screening in cinemas nationwide! The film marked its official launch with a red carpet premiere last December 23, where the principal cast gathered to introduce the comedy-drama to the public.
For the unacquainted, the film centers on Twinkle de Guzman (Vice Ganda), a queer single parent, and Mara de Jesus (Nadine Lustre), the biological mother of Twinkle’s adoptive son Angelo, portrayed by Lucas Andalio. Tension arises when Mara reenters Angelo’s life just as Twinkle prepares to finalize the adoption process.
Under the direction of Jun Robles Llana, the film is shaping up to be a notable contender in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) lineup.

At the red carpet premiere, lead star Nadine Lustre was the ultimate sight of sophistication.
Styled by Joanna Garcia, the actress arrived in a sheer skin tone ensemble. Up top, the look featured a long-sleeve top matched with a boned corset tube layered beneath. The bodice transitioned into a frilled sheer skirt, finished with white textured appliqué detailing tracing the hips upward toward the waist.

She completed the outfit with white pointed-toe heels and a full suite of Bulgari Tubogas jewelry, which consisted of a diamond-set necklace, looped earrings, and a coordinating bracelet.
Beauty-wise, makeup artist Jelly Eugenio swept up a fresh, luminous complexion, subtly enhanced with delicate gemstones placed around the eyes. Hairstylist Paul Nebres complemented the look with loose, cascading beach waves, punctuating the ensemble’s airy, ethereal mood.
