Celebrities pulled out all the stops for GMA’s 75th anniversary. Held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom on August 2, this year’s gala drew some of the industry’s brightest stars, each making a grand entrance on the blue carpet in lavish creations by international and Filipino designers alike.
With no official theme this year, guests embraced their own interpretations of Old Hollywood glamour—some opting for classic ball gowns, others arriving in extravagantly beaded ensembles. It was, without question, the Kapuso network’s most spectacular gala yet, with attendees setting an impressive tone for the evening’s fashion.

1. Heart Evangelista in Schiaparelli Couture, styled by Iza Sim
Global fashion maven Heart Evangelista turned heads in a striking Schiaparelli couture gown styled by Iza Sim. This version, longer than the one shown on the Fall 2023 runway, featured hand-painted, anatomical-inspired illustrations across the fabric. Its raw, unfinished hems and sculptural seams gave the dress its distinctly deconstructed yet artful quality.

2. Vice Ganda in Paul Cabral, styled by Aaron Mangsat
Never one to shy away from drama, the unkabogable Vice Ganda arrived in a commanding cobalt blue ball gown by Paul Cabral. The crisp tube neckline flowed seamlessly into a voluminous skirt that swept across the blue carpet. Styled by Aaron Mangsat, the look was finished with tousled blonde waves, a blunt fringe, and a striking tennis necklace framing her visage.

3. Marian Rivera in Zuhair Murad, styled by Melville Sy of Studio 24c
Marian Rivera brought classic glamour to the blue carpet in a black lace ensemble from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Styled by Melville Sy of Studio 24c, the off-shoulder gown was accented with Bulgari jewels—the Allegra necklace in rose gold layered with an 18kt yellow gold Tubogas necklace with an oval blue topaz centerpiece, and the Serpenti Cuore 1968 bag in hand.

4. Gabbi Garcia in Cheetah Rivera, styled by Steven Coralde and Leanne Ledesma of Qurator Studio
Gabbi Garcia channeled vintage glamour in a crimson ball gown by Cheetah Rivera. Styled by Qurator Studio’s Steven Coralde and Leanne Ledesma, the silhouette referenced the bouffant dresses of the ‘50s— made contemporary with its double corsetry and draping across the bodice.

5. Kyline Alcantara in Annie’s Ibiza, styled by Melville Sy of Studio 24c
For her first gala appearance as an independent single woman, Kyline Alcantara opted for a fully beaded column gown by English luxury label Annie’s Ibiza. Styled by Melville Sy of Studio 24c, the piece—aptly named Joan of Arc—was adorned with glass beadwork resembling stained glass windows from medieval cathedrals. Deep jewel tones like burgundy, indigo, and gold dominated the palette, while a structured bolero added a military-inspired finish.

6. Anne Curtis in Alaïa
Anne Curtis kept things chic and effortless in a sheer, rhinestone-studded jersey dress from Alaïa’s Spring 2024 collection. Minimally accessorized with diamond stud earrings, she wore her hair slicked back with soft, face-framing tendrils and complemented the look with barely-there, cool-toned makeup.

7. Bianca De Vera in Marc Rancy, styled by Adrianne Concepcion
Bianca De Vera looked ethereal in a corseted Marc Rancy creation, intricately embellished with Art Deco-inspired beadwork. Styled by Adrianne Concepcion, the gown featured a sheer, flowy skirt that balanced its ornate bodice.

8. Alexa Ilacad in Vee Tan, styled by Patty Yap
Alexa Ilacad turned heads in a curve-hugging aubergine gown by Vee Tan. Styled by Patty Yap, the design featured a sweetheart neckline and waist-baring cut-outs. The mermaid-cut skirt was detailed with subtle draping, lending texture and dimension against the minimalist silhouette.

9. Cassy Legaspi in Vania Romoff, styled by Cath Sobrevega
Cassy Legaspi was a sophisticated sight in a custom ivory gown by Vania Romoff. Styled by Cath Sobrevega, the high-neck, haltered bodice featured delicate floral appliqués, contrasting beautifully with the sculptural silk faille skirt that bloomed into rounded pleats. Her slicked-back hair and diamond jewelry kept the focus firmly on the structured elegance of the dress.

10. Bea Alonzo in Elie Saab, styled by Leanne Ledesma of Qurator Studio
Bea Alonzo opted for timeless elegance in a custom blush gown by Elie Saab, complete with the softly pleated bodice and flowing scarf detail at the halter neckline. Styled by Leanne Ledesma of Qurator Studio, she accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and a minaudière by Neil Felipp.
