Heart Evangelista Arrives in Painterly Schiaparelli at the GMA Gala 2025

Heart Evangelista made a striking entrance at the GMA Gala 2025, joining the network’s 75th anniversary celebration in one of the evening’s most memorable couture moments. In line with her fashion-forward instincts, the actress and artist arrived in a gown that was equal parts fashion statement and gallery piece.

The look in question was a dress from Schiaparelli’s Fall 2023 Couture collection, a body-hugging number in a painterly, mosaic-like fabric that seemed to be brushed directly onto the body. 

Ahead of the gala, Heart released a bold editorial photographed by BJ Pascual with creative direction by Eldzs Mejia. The images—set on a bright red heart-shaped platform, pierced with arrows—were a visual nod to her namesake. Theatrical but clean, it amplified the surrealist quality of the dress and placed her squarely at the center of a contemporary love-and-art narrative.

Her voluminous, mid-motion hair by Ghil Sayo and barely-there makeup by Memay Francisco softened the look just enough to keep the focus on the garment’s painterly intensity. The final effect was cohesive and arresting, like an homage to Schiaparelli’s heritage of art-driven couture.
