10 of Song Hye Kyo’s Chicest Neutral Outfits, As Seen in “Now We Are Breaking Up"

Two years after her last k-drama, Song Hye Kyo is officially back onscreen with Now We Are Breaking Up, a romance series that premiered on November 12. She plays the ambitious Ha Young-eun, a fashion designer who puts love on the backburner to focus on her career, while Jang Ki Yong plays Yoon Jae-gook, a wealthy and freethinking freelance photographer. As of writing, only six out of sixteen episodes are out, which means you have a lot of time left to catch up! 

Given that the show largely takes place in the fashion arena, it's only natural that the leading lady have an enviably sophisticated wardrobe. Ha Young-eun fully embodies that effortless elegance that we've come to expect from Song Hye Kyo's characters. From what we've seen, the character really has a taste for timeless neutrals, and relaxed silhouettes that easily transition from day to evening wear.

1. It's established early on that Young-eun is a fan of long trench coats and jackets. Here, she wore a dove gray wool-blend coat and burgundy leather skirt from the Korean brand Michaa. The Fendi ambassador also toted the iconic Peekaboo bag with a twilly, and wore a Chaumet watch on her wrist.

2. Here's one of the most memorable OOTDs from the show so far! Hye Kyo rocked denim on denim, both from the brand Your Name Here. She accented the cohesive look with a striped sweater worn around her shoulders, as well as a Mon Tresor bucket bag by Fendi.

3. Hye Kyo's totally making us want to layer! Here, she donned a structured white coat (also by Michaa) over a sheer black blouse. 

4. Hye Kyo went for a sleek yet laidback OOTD in a black belted silk dress by Fendi. We're loving the unassuming and classy logo belt buckle!

5. Hye Kyo is proof that you need white button-downs in different textures. She wore the daintiest lace cardigan by Fendi to a candlelight dinner, and accessorized with Bee My Love drop earrings from Chaumet. 

6. In case you weren't already convinced, here's proof that tan OOTDs will always look super chic. Here, our leading lady wore a cropped blazer and belted midi skirt, both from EN OR. She completed the classy outfit with a pair of knee-high heeled boots from Athe Vanessabruno.

7. A voluminous skirt, no matter the color or print, will make a statement every time. Offset the shape with a fluid silk blouse. To elevate the evening look, Hye Kyo wore the Promenade Impériale earrings from Chaumet and the Sexy Choc Buckle Clutch in Satin by Roger Vivier.

8. Looks like stripes and smart trench coats are Young-eun's go-to items. Here, she wore a classy striped shirt, a navy blazer-style coat, clean white trousers, a white Fendi Peekaboo handbag, and a chunky gold toggle necklace from the brand Hei.
