You’re bound to be proven wrong as soon as the intro clip rolls in. Starring seasoned actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, our newest K-drama addiction that tells the love story between a principled North Korean military officer and a beautiful South Korean heiress is, in fact, one of the most fashionable series to air this year.
Yoon Se-ri, the drama’s well-heeled heroine, starts strong with a slew of big-ticket designer labels swathing her from head to toe in the first few episodes. There's no shortage of Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Burberry, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, and many more! Her style as an CEO of a fashion company doesn't disappoint, even after she crash-lands on the North Korean territory and is forced to make do with thrifted finds. "Fortunately, during the first episodes I get to show you the fancy and very beautiful wardrobe of Se-ri, the CEO; but unfortunately, mid-first-episode I crash-land in North Korea... So you should be able to see the difference between the very fancy outfits [of my character] as a CEO and of course the North Korean style wardrobe," says Ye-jin in an interview with Preview.
