At H&M's Chinese New Year intimate gathering, Feng Shui Master Marites Allen, the first Filipina awarded the title Master in Feng Shui by the Feng Shui Association, reveals that this year’s lucky color is Green. “Since it’s the Year of the Metal Rat, we need earth elemental colors like green to bring balance. Feng Shui is all about balance,” she says.
Then if you find yourself in a bind, financially, Feng Shui has a gilded remedy for that. Want that designer bag you've been eyeing for months? Have you been dying to fly business class to your dream destination? There are colors to attract wealth and prosperity, too! “If you want [to be lucky with] money, wear gold, white, and silver,” Marites shares, “Wearing metallic colors attracts wealth.” White, gold, and silver reflect the colors of metals commonly associated with coins and bills, so wearing them is a way to steer monetary success your way, according to Marites.
Whether or not you believe in Feng Shui, it won't hurt to incorporate these chic shades into your wardrobe as a great way to jump start your 2020 fashion story. After all, who wouldn't want a boost of luck?
