It’s a new Hope, indeed! Liza Soberano is welcoming a new era, and along with that, a fresh flair to her closet.
The 25-year-old actress recently made headlines following the release of her no-holds-barred vlog, where she reflected on her decade-long career. In the 14-minute video, Liza–whose real name is Hope Elizabeth–confessed her desire for more creative freedom.
“During all those years, I was never really asked for my input, my thoughts, my ideas,” she said. “I felt like I was being told to be just a flower for so long and I finally started to explore a world of being able to create and tell my story, and hopefully others.”
With her recent foray into Hollywood productions and music with James Reid’s Careless, the young artist is unafraid to experiment with new horizons, including fashion. Alongside stylist Perry Tabora, Liza is introducing the all-new Hope in ensembles that echo her edgier style persona. For proof, look no further than her recent OOTDs below!

1. Double denim who? With Liza, triple is where it’s at. The actress-slash-musician makes a case for layer-on-layer denim in an oversized blazer, a button-on tube top, and a lightly fringed jean skirt courtesy of Balmain. To cap off the cowgirl-esque ensemble, the star towered with a pair of sleek white knee-high boots.
2. This time around, Hope brought her cool girl energy inside the Careless offices by channeling schoolgirl chic. The all-around artist took some cues from '90s style stars with a crisp baby tee and a pleated mini skirt, paired with oh-so-cute chunky Mary Janes. For an extra punch, Perry attired her in a leather varsity jacket, rectangular frames, and earrings from Feel Good Manila.
3. Nothing says getting down to business more than the power suit. In her grand reveal as Maya’s brand ambassador, Liza opted for a cropped blazer with a tasteful midriff reveal, sourced by Perry from a store in Seoul. She kept to the look’s sharp lines and edges with pointed boots that are impactful to a T.
4. Neutrals, denim, and animal print make for a volatile combo with Liza’s ultra-chic professional look. Here, browns are the go-to shade for her oversized blazer and bandeau, while the ensemble’s other half plays on materials and patterns. Spot the knee-high snakeskin boots straight from Gucci!
