It's been almost a week since the music video for Moira dela Torre's Paubaya decided to shatter everyone's hearts on Valentine's day. Still, it seems like a few days aren't enough to be completely over it. We're still processing the fact that Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia had a hand in writing their dialogue, but honestly, the one detail we're still reeling from is exactly what you'd expect: Julia's wedding dress.
For her walk down the aisle, the actress donned a sheer bridal gown from PS Officiel, local designer Patricia Santos' label. The dress had quite the minimalist feel, with a clean, square neckline, a low scoop back, and a slit. That is, until your eyes reach the full, A-line skirt made of light, delicate lace which made that dramatic (and speedy) church exit possible.
That said, it being easy to run in wasn't the sole reason behind this choice of a gown. "Actually, when we chose the gown, we first envisioned something a bride would wear if she is to marry her best friend," the designer tells Preview. "I wanted [Julia] to wear a dress that is youthful and timeless. I think that is also a perfect way to describe Julia and her beauty."
Though it looks like a custom piece (we can totally see Julia getting it for her own nuptials), this wedding dress is actually from PS Officiel's upcoming ready-to-wear bridal collection. So yes, if you're getting married soon and want to cop it for yourself, it's possible!
In fact, here's some advice for choosing your dream dress, straight from the designer of this dreamy frock: "It's really important to wear something that reflects you and your personality. I believe that our dress choices say a lot about us as a person. It's like our extension, and when you feel most like yourself, your beauty will shine and you will be happy and confident."
