Georgina Wilson returns to the cover of Preview!
For the first time in nearly a decade, the top model reappears on the magazine’s digital pages—this time, shaped by years that have seen her evolve into a mother of three, scale Sunnies into a global business, and navigate life between Manila and Shanghai.
The January 2026 cover story draws from Georgina’s extensive history with Preview, an homage to the many editorials she’s fronted throughout the 2000s and 2010s. Across those shoots, she’s slipped easily into a variety of personas, each concept anchored by a defined character.
“Georgina has always represented the quintessential Preview girl,” says Preview EIC Marj Ramos-Clemente. “She embodies the woman Preview has consistently celebrated—confident, modern, and secure in her sense of style. She’s one of the most iconic muses to have appeared on our pages throughout the magazine’s 30-year history, so having her back on the cover really feels like a homecoming.”
Dressing Georgina in Gucci’s Cruise 2026 collection only made perfect sense. After all, the lineup is all about channeling the spirit of "sprezzatura"—the Italian notion of an effortless sense of grace, the studied art of making difficult things look effortless.
And who else embodies that best, but Ms. GG herself?
About Gucci's Cruise 2026 Collection
First unveiled in May 2025 in Florence, the luxury house’s birthplace, Gucci’s Cruise 2026 presentation stood as a reflection on its storied past and enduring design language, tracing the brand’s evolution across decades.
Core signatures reemerged through fluid tailoring, sculptural proportions, textured materials, and detail-heavy finishes, including sequins, beadwork, and feathers. Designed by Gucci’s in-house studio, Cruise 2026 also marks the final collection before Demna’s debut for the house, set to arrive in-stores for Spring/Summer 2026.

On the cover
Set against the aged corridors of the century-old Miramar Hotel, Georgina clutches a peacock taxidermy in one hand and a Gucci Vanity bag in the other. She wears Look 26 from the runway: a light beige silk dress subtly stamped with a diagonal GG monogram. Its silhouette highlights a defining theme of the collection—soft, fluid textiles offset by structured, power shoulders.
A subtle yet defining detail of the look are the crystal-embellished beige tights layered beneath the dress. Subtle and unassuming to some, the accessory adds the perfect touch of glamour alongside the dress’ luminous finish.

For the first inside layout, George dons Look 2: a grey-and-brown silk twill top paired with brown velvet leggings and black patent leather pumps.
The style team opted to play around with the attached self-tie scarf, knotting it into an oversized pussy bow. To accessorize the look, Georgina wore a pair of stone-finish resin earrings—also a piece from the brand’s selection of fashion jewelry.

Here, we make a case for print-on-print’s revival this 2026.
Georgina wears Look 11 from the runway, a green-and-red printed silk dress layered with accessories rendered in Gucci’s iconic GG canvas—a pair of slingback flats and the Gucci Diana top-handle bag. Dotted burgundy tights were also used to tie the whole color story together.

We’re always here for a solid power-dressing moment, and Gucci’s take on the boardroom staple feels especially on point. Lifted from Look 15 on the runway, the outfit revolves around a boxy stone-grey blazer, punctuated by black crystal-embellished tights.
For a pop of color against the otherwise achromatic look, we had Georgina slip on a pair of light green satin heels.

This power dressing look shifts toward a muted purple tone. Wearing Look 32 from the runway, the outfit features a double-breasted mauve blazer layered over a ruffled cotton muslin shirt and stone-grey trousers. For the layout, the blazer is worn fully buttoned and styled with black slingback pumps, a brown suede shoulder bag, and black acetate sunglasses.
