They've reopened their infant wear atelier for the endeavor.

Luxury label Dior has announced that, to aid in the French government's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, they have reopened a dormant childrenswear workshop in order to produce masks for medical personnel. The Baby Dior factory in Redon, in the Brittany region of France, started manufacturing masks on Tuesday, March 31, with a team of volunteer staff.

"We are proud to reopen our Baby Dior ateliers in Redon, which since this morning have begun the continuous production of new masks on a volunteer basis," the brand stated in a press release. "Dior is actively committed to aiding and protecting all those who are on the front line every day. Thank you to our wonderful petites mains who, in an exceptional show of solidarity, are working tirelessly to protect them."

Dior is handled by the conglomerate LVMH, which recently announced it would start manufacturing disinfectant gel for donation at facilities that make perfume and cosmetics for brands including Guerlain and Givenchy.
