BINI Mikha Attends Comic-Con Wearing an Avant-Garde Top by a Filipino Designer

Ahead of their world tour, the members of BINI flew to San Diego, California, for a series of appearances and media engagements in the United States. Among the highlights of their trip was a surprise appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, where they joined the DreamWorks Animation panel for the upcoming film Forgotten Island, which draws from Filipino mythology and culture. During the event, the P-pop act performed "A Parallel World," the film's official Taglish soundtrack.

Following the panel, Mikha explored the convention floor, stopping by attractions including a Jujutsu Kaisen exhibit, and even crossed paths with actor Mason Thames.

For the occasion, Mikha stepped out in a design fresh from Filipino designer Renz Reyes’ latest ready-to-wear collection. The light-wash denim tube top was defined by a sculpted waist and geometric accordion-inspired panels that flared at the hips.

She balanced the structured upper half with a white ruffled mini skirt, whose frayed raw-edge tiers introduced softness and fluidity against the rigidity of the denim. Completing the ensemble were slouchy cream knee-high boots, which echoed the white accents of the skirt's trim.

Elevating the otherwise casual look, Mikha carried a deep burgundy Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag crafted in the luxury house’s signature Intrecciato woven leather. The rich burgundy hue perfectly complemented her vibrant crimson hair, creating a cohesive extension of the look's color palette.
