1. Alexa Chung and Tan France will host Netflix's first designer competition show.

Netflix has been cooking up a new show for the fashion savvy to binge: Next In Fashion. Netflix's first fashion design competition will put 18 designers head to head "in a series of challenges for the final $250,000 prize and the chance to showcase their designs with Net-a-Porter," Fashionista writes. What's more, the 10-episode series will be co-hosted by Alexa Chung and Queer Eye's Tan France! The duo is reported to be joined by stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Instagram's Eva Chen, and more.

2. Gigi Hadid is the new face of Burberry.

Gigi Hadid has been tapped as Riccardo Tisci's newest muse for Burberry. The supermodel fronts the new monogram line of the British brand. In an Instagram post, Burberry writes that the campaign illustrates the "marriage of our heritage and our future," as it "celebrates our archive-inspired #ThomasBurberryMonogram through a modern lens."

3. Calvin Klein apologizes over queerbaiting in new campaign with Bella Hadid.

American brand Calvin Klein has issued an apology to the LGBTQ+ community after releasing their new ad fronted by Bella Hadid and virtual influencer Lil Miquela. In the said ad, Bella was seen kissing the robot, which caused social media backlash, receiving negative comments such as "A corporate brand will show Lil Miquela and Bella Hadid making out but not an actual gay couple," and "Let’s not queer bait in 2019, thanks."

4. Gucci is under scrutiny for cultural appropriation over Indian turbans.

Gucci finds itself in hot water again. The Italian brand headed by Alessandro Michele is accused of cultural appropriation for selling turbans dubbed as "Indy Full Turban," which are priced at $790 (roughly P41,000) and are available at luxury department store Nordstrom. The New York-based Sikh Coalition released a statement on Twitter, saying, "The Sikh turban is not just a fashion accessory, but it’s also a sacred religious article of faith. We hope more can be done to recognize this critical context."

5. Dior is selling the most luxurious all-white bike for $10,000.

You read that right. The most luxurious bike to date is now being sold by Dior. The luxury brand has partnered with Bogarde bikes for an all-white bicycle featuring Dior's famous Oblique monogram. It will retail for $10,000 (about P526,800).
