The intense preparation that goes into the stars' final looks for the ABS-CBN Ball definitely deserves more than just one shot on the red carpet. Especially with such a nostalgic theme, the celebrities and their glam teams couldn't help but mount their own pre-ball photoshoots to document all their hard work.
One of the most interesting concepts we've seen so far is by photographer Shaira Luna, who shot the clients of celebrity stylist Myrrh Lao To in the most nostalgic vintage-inspired frames.

According to Shaira, the original plan with Myrrh was to light the photos as if the subjects were bathed in sunlight (you can still view these on the stylist's feed!), but while shooting, she was suddenly inspired to do something different. "I only thought of the sepia treatment after Ylona [Garcia]'s first few frames, because looking at the screen and her dress against the curtain reminded me of my grandmother's old photographs," she tells Preview. "I've made so many 1940s-1970s photo stories throughout the years, but this one is memorable because it's something you don't often get to do with stars!"
The result? A slew of snaps that looked like they came straight out of your family's old albums. See our favorites from the set below!
