If you've missed Ms. Sunny from Goblin, then you're in for some good news! MBC has announced that Yoo In Na will take the lead role for their new drama titled The Spy Who Loved Me. She will be starring alongside Shinhwa’s Eric Mun and Im Joo Hwan, Soompi reports.
This time, though, Yoo In Na won’t be managing a chicken restaurant. Instead, she will be playing Kang Ah Reum, a wedding dress designer who gets into a bit of trouble because of her two husbands. Her first beau, Jun Ji Hoon (Eric Mun), is an unpredictable agent who works for Interpol, while the other, Derek Hyun (Im Joo Hwan), is a competitive corporate spy. Yikes!
Yoo In Na is just as excited as we are to play the role, according to an interview. "I’m delighted to be able to greet you in the role of the passionate Kang Ah Reum, who is overflowing with charm. The character has so much story to tell, and I’m looking forward to the very special romance that will be unfolding [in the drama]," she says.
The Spy Who Loved Me is slated to premiere this October in South Korea. There’s no word yet whether it will be released in the Philippines, but we're keeping our fingers crossed!
