For the OG K-drama fan, Princess Hours is a must-watch series. The drama was such a hit that even to this day, you will still see people swooning over crown prince Lee Shin (Ju Ji Hoon) and at the same time rooting for him and Chae Kyung (Yoon Eun Hye).
It’s been over a decade since Princess Hours came into our lives (mostly through ABS-CBN as streaming services weren’t a thing back then), and you might be wondering what the OG cast have been up to since the masterpiece. Well, we did the research for you and here’s what we found!
1. Yoon Eun Hye
Yoon Eun Hye hasn’t been exactly active in the drama scene. Her last K-drama was the 2018 series titled Fluttering Warning. She was also in a movie called After Love that came out in the same year. She has, however, made a recent appearance in the radio show Radio Star where she discussed how she once depended on alcohol to help her with her insomnia. She’s now eight years sober and is working hard everyday to get through her past difficulties.
2. Ju Ji Hoon
I guess some things never change. More than a decade later, Ju Ji Hoon is still a crown prince! He plays Lee Chang from the Netflix original series, Kingdom. The zombie thriller isn’t his only project this year, though. He also starred alongside Kim Hye Soo in the SBS drama Hyena where both of them played A-list lawyers.
3. Kim Jeong Hoon
Princess Hours’ Kim Jeong Hoon (or as we know him, Lee Yul) hasn’t been as active as our crown prince but you’d be surprised to know that back in 2016 he starred alongside Girls’ Generation Im Yoo Na in a Chinese drama titled God of War, Zhao Yun. Kim Jeong Hoon played Li Zhi, a skilled general who was always ready for battle.
4. Song Ji Hyo
The ambitious ballerina Min Hyo Rin, played by Song Ji Hyo, is gearing up for the role of Noh Ae Jung in the new K-drama romcom Did We Love? Noh Ae Jung is a movie producer who is also a single mom who has lived on her own for 14 years. She’s basically given up on the whole dating scene—or so she thought! Her character is very positive and it’s interesting to see how she’ll approach this second chance at love!
