Attention, coffee lovers! If you’re planning a trip to South Korea in the future, we suggest you add the province of Gyeonggi to your list. Why? It’s now home to the largest Starbucks in the country!
Located in Yangpyeong County near the Namhan River, the beloved coffee giant opened their biggest branch yet last July 24 in celebration of their 21st anniversary in SK. According to Starbucks Asia's official website, the Yangpyeong store boasts of three stories and spans 1,203 square meters (about 13,000 square feet).

“The new store is a reflection of Starbucks' commitment to offering more ways for customers in Korea to enjoy the Starbucks experience,” reads an official statement.
Coined as The Yangpyeong drive-thru store, this glass encased coffee house is the first Starbucks in Korea to offer a Reserve coffee bar, Teavana bar, and a drive-thru format all in one location. Apart from relaxing amongst its sleek cream-hued interiors, and marveling at the scenic views from its upper floors, customers can also drop by the store’s rooftop to enjoy live performances from some of the country’s young local talents.
