Starbucks Reserve's menu now offers affogato.

Meaning "drowned" in Italian, an affogato is a classic coffee-based dessert that has a single scoop of vanilla ice cream soaked or drowned in espresso (hence the name). It's the perfect perk-me-up treat, especially in Manila's perpetually changing weather, so we're stoked that  Starbucks has decided to offer affogato in two of their Reserve branches: Three E-com Center and Westgate Alabang.

Their Classic Affogato (P230) is, well, a classic with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drowned in two shots of espresso for a creamy, rich treat. For those with a sweet tooth, you'll enjoy the House Affogato (P250), which tops the ice cream-coffee combo with demerara syrup and a dusting of cinnamon.

The Cold Brew Float will perk you up while also keeping you cool and refreshed.

Starbucks has other cool treats for fans of the ice-cream-and-coffee combo. If you want something that's more of a drink than a dessert, you'll enjoy the Cold Brew Float (P250), which is Starbucks' signature cold brew topped with vanilla ice cream. You can also get this as a Nitro Cold Brew Float (P270), for an extra frothy beverage. For something extra comforting, have the Cold Brew Malt (P270), with cold brew blended with ice cream and malted milk for a drink that'll bring you back to your childhood days of malted milkshakes and simpler times.

The new drinks are currently available at Starbucks Reserve G/F Three E-com Center, Pasay City; and Starbucks Reserve, Westgate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
