Before officially welcoming their first child, Sam Pinto and Anthony Semerad gave their tropical-themed condo a minor makeover. Instead of constructing a nursery, though, the couple simply placed baby decor all over their home. They made sure to match everything to their original theme as well, and the result is just stunning. Not only that, it's also such a practical hack for parents-to-be with limited space!
Take a look at Sam Pinto and Anthony Semerad's stylish and baby-friendly home transforation below:
"I use a lot of native products, leaf designs, browns and nudes and natural wood color," Sam writes on Instagram. This was evident not only in the initial design of the couple's home, but in their new baby items, too! What used to be a bare living room floor is now a space for a Tropicale baby gym and Umi Baby rocker with beautiful wooden accents, plus the cutest monstera leaf mat from Fun Nest to match.
Selfie Area/Changing Station
Because Sam and Anthony decided not to have a dedicated nursery for baby Mia, the pair utilized the space in their home for newborn equipment. The accessory shelf in their selfie area, for example, is now where you'll find a baby changing station from Akeeva. Sam shares, "It's still empty but when she arrives, diapers, wipes, whatever and everything she needs would fit perfectly in there!"
Baby Mia will also be sharing the master bedroom with her parents. Her co-sleeper fits perfectly by the window, decorated with an adorable plushie and a leaf pillow to match the theme of the room. It's the perfect set-up for couples with limited rooms or those who just want easy access to their newborn.
Another new addition to Sam and Anthony's room is this Hannes chest from Furniture Source Philippines. According to Sam, they changed the black knobs to light wood to have it match the colors in the space better. True enough, it jives seamlessly with the wooden accents of their decor!
In their initial house tour, the couple left the space behind their closet free for a quaint home office. Who would've guessed that not long after, it would become a cozy nook for their future daughter? Of course, the space followed the light wood, neutral, and green memo to the letter. So cute!
