This summer, the Preview collective gathered for weekly doses of self-care and community. For four weeks, we encouraged our guests to step away from the demands of modern life, turning inward for moments of mindful movement and intention through Preview & Pilates.

Through a series of weekly studio takeovers, Preview hosted intimate wellness afternoons at the editorially vetted spaces of MNL Pilates, Scoop Pilates, 8 Studio, and Fit to Live during the program's inaugural run.

The initiative reimagined the group reformer class as a lifestyle-driven experience curated through the brand's lens. “Preview & Pilates was always envisioned as an extension of the Preview community—a space where we can come together not just through fashion, but also through intentional living and self-care,” Preview Editor-in-Chief Marj Ramos-Clemente shared during one of her welcome remarks.

Here’s Everything That Went Down During "Preview & Pilates"

Throughout its month-long run, Preview & Pilates encouraged participants to carve out time from their busy schedules for moments of wellness and community. Combining socials with all-levels-friendly group reformer Pilates classes, the series offered an opportunity to recharge, reconnect with oneself, and meet like-minded individuals.

Of course, it was also the perfect excuse to break in a cute workout set. Participants moved comfortably in stylish yet functional pieces from Penshoppe Play, which balances performance and versatility. Available in trendy pastel hues as well as timeless blacks and neutrals, the collection's supportive silhouettes made it easy to move while looking effortlessly put together.

While each partner studio had its own distinct aesthetic, the spaces were unified by understated displays of Preview merchandise, creating a cohesive visual identity throughout the series. Guests were also invited to browse copies of Preview Volume 1, offering a glimpse into the stories, insights, and creative voices that shape the brand beyond the digital space.

The studios' waiting lounges also served as spaces for connection, with thoughtfully curated grazing tables and coffee bars offering refreshments before and after class. Whether participants were settling in ahead of a session or winding down afterward, the communal setup encouraged moments of conversation and camaraderie beyond the reformers.

Each session opened with welcome remarks from the Preview editorial team, including Marj and Managing Editor Reg Rodriguez.

During their remarks, the editors reflected on the inspiration behind Preview & Pilates: the need to step away from the constant stream of notifications and demands of modern life to recharge, reset, and reconnect with oneself. They also underscored the importance of creating a shared space for wellness—one that brings the Preview community together through intentional movement and meaningful connection.

The all-levels-friendly classes were then led by Sharon De Dios at MNL Pilates, Nicole and Michelle at Scoop, Sabina Tiempo and Jacquelyn Guchone at 8 Studio, and Vian Taracina and Sophia Viray at Fit to Live. Through mindful movement and guided instruction, participants were encouraged to slow down, stay present, and focus on themselves as they challenged their bodies and worked up a sweat.

Socials followed and guests were given time to mingle, take content and join the giveaway. There was also a Cebu Pacific booth where guests can participate in a survey and bring home a tumbler.
