The Marriott Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts was buzzing on September 2 as Preview celebrated 30 years of Filipino creativity and style at the Preview Ball 2025. With the theme “homegrown,” guests arrived in looks that reimagined Philippine culture through modern flair, turning the ballroom into a showcase of individuality and local ingenuity.

From interactive booths to live performances and star-studded awards, the night was full of surprises—and here’s how it all went down.

In a discreet corner, Mayad Studios and Rocket Sets revived the “secret” photobooth, where an LED wall of nature scenes and earthy details paid tribute to Filipino roots. “It’s a mix of nature and technology,” said Rocket Sets’ Migo Alomajan, noting how the setup reflected the “homegrown” theme by honoring the past while embracing the future. Mayad Studios co-founder Alvin Paver described it as “showcasing [local creatives’] artistry at its finest,” adding, “Guests embodied a sense of native elegance, and it was an honor to capture those moments at Preview’s secret photobooth.”

Anne CurtisPreview’s most featured cover muse, went onstage as the much-awaited September 2025 cover was unveiled, shot by Preview 30 Icon BJ Pascual. Inspired by Philippine culture and landscapes, the visual reimagined her as Maganda to Bomba Ding’s Malakas—a striking nod to the creation myth. The cover, which also graces Preview Vol. 1, wasn’t just another record-breaking milestone; it also marked Anne’s two-decade journey with Preview and her lasting imprint on Filipino fashion.
