KC Concepcion’s Instagram has become a photobook for her ongoing California trip as of late, and we can’t help but come down with major travel envy. Apart from traipsing across The Golden State in style, she’s also made her way around, dining in iconic restaurants and lounging in five-star hotels. Curious about her eventful itinerary?
Ahead, we list down all the best places KC Concepcion’s visited in California, as seen on her IG feed.
1. Skylight Books
Based on her caption, it seems KC went hunting for a cookbook at Skylight Books in LA. Bibliophiles will definitely want to jot this location down, as it’s an independent bookstore that carries titles you won’t usually see in our local book shops. As per their official website, they have a curated selection of varied genres, including literary fiction, graphic novels, children's books, essays and nonfiction, and other books on art, photography, film, and music.

2. Craig's
Planning a night out with friends during your future vacay? Take your cue from KC and her crew who dined at Craig’s, an upscale restaurant at Melrose Avenue, famous for serving up American comfort food and vegan eats. The establishment boasts of praises from celebrities and top publications alike, from The Huffington Post, to The Los Angeles Times, and even late television host Larry King.

3. The Peninsula Beverly Hills
We’re loving this gorgeous shot of KC in a lilac Patty Ang frock at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. FYI, the famed luxury resort is a five-star urban hideout for tourists who want a piece of the California dream. The Peninsula Hotels’ Beverly Hills branch, in particular, is their only brand that’s achieved the coveted five-star status across its ten hotels. No wonder even their exteriors are Instagram-worthy!

4. Gracias Madre
Still hard at work overseas, KC spent her morning writing up personalized cards for her Avec Moi jewelry patrons at Gracias Madre. The West Hollywood spot serves up plant-based Mexican cuisine using local, organic ingredients, perfect for vegetarian foodies.

5. Geoffrey’s Malibu
Who wouldn’t swoon over the panoramic ocean view behind KC’s Instagram snap at Geoffrey’s Malibu? A feast for both the eyes and taste buds, this oceanside, Mediterranean resto is dubbed “Malibu’s Most Iconic Restaurant.” Much like KC’s breathtaking background, the food establishment was built so that every table in the house has a sweeping view of the Pacific coastline.

6. Connie & Ted's
KC took a trip down memory lane when she ordered a plate of Lobster rolls at Connie & Ted’s. “[They] remind me of life in Boston, [Massachusetts], where my parents enrolled me in a private Jewish school in the 7th grade,” wrote the actress. “I was the only left-handed player on our lacrosse team…had an obsession with buffalo wings, poppyseed bagels, lobsters, and got lost in the world of our backyard. I would come home from school and sneak into the woods to find all sorts of animals, including beavers and crawdaddies, at the nearby lake... Fun how food can bring back so many childhood memories.”

Located in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Connie & Ted’s is the brainchild of the same married duo it was named after. The joint is a seafood lover’s dream, with their menu swimming in familiar favorites like lobsters, calamari, crabs, fresh oysters, and mussels, among others.
7. Magnolia Bakery
Here’s another spot to add to your California food crawl: the iconic Magnolia Bakery’s Los Angeles branch. Apart from their world-famous pastries, they also serve quality coffee that’ll satisfy your daily fix, as evidenced by KC’s Instagram post.

You can also find a Magnolia Bakery branch—the M Bakery—in the Philippines, at the Bonifacio Global City.
8. Beverly Center
We’re loving this neon art installation at the Beverly Center, as taken by KC. The shopping mall itself spans eight stories, with this exhibit by visual artist Karen Bystedt, titled The Lost Warhols, currently taking up the sixth floor.

9. Rosewood Miramar Beach
Over at Montecito, California, the Filipina actress enjoyed a carefree day out, snapping pics on the railway by the Rosewood Miramar Beach. KC admitted in her caption that she wasn’t aware the railway was still active. “Enjoyed the moment anyway,” she wrote. The Rosewood Miramar Beach is a five-star coastal retreat known for its expansive front lawn and unobstructed views of the sea.
